Needles

Needles

Historically needles were made from bone and other hard materials and were used to sew together skins and furs. The earliest needles found were discovered at a Celtic hill fort in Manching, Germany and date back to the third century BC. Archaeologists also discovered a full sewing set (complete with thimble!) in the tomb of an official from the Han Dynasty of China (202 BC-AD 220).

Korbond hand sewing needle range is manufactured using high quality carbon steel and has been developed to cover a host of domestic applications.
